Focusing on the celebration of two and three wheeled vehicles in the Central Pennsylvania region, The Twisted Taps Collective was officially named and founded in early 2023. The group started by developing and hosting the Taps and Twisties ride series – longer weekend rides that celebrate the natural beauty of the local landscape while also visiting local craft breweries. After a while, a core group of five riders got together and decided to make things official, thus the Twisted Taps Collective was born. Members are not only involved in the Twisted Taps Collective, but also support other clubs, attend rallies, and are highly involved in the greater Mid-Atlantic scooter community.
As a Collective, Twisted Taps is a little different and does not enforce singular club membership. Instead, the group welcomes and includes members with other club affiliations like Three Mile Island and Hop Head Scooter Club. We welcome all two and three wheel riders regardless of the bike. To join our rides, you only need to be enthusiastic about riding and looking forward to a beautiful route focusing on mountains, rivers, and local eateries and breweries.
Taps and Twisties start in March and end in November; however, TTC members scoot all year round. Take a look at our Events page for upcoming events happening the greater Mid-Atlantic Scooter Community, as well as events that TTC will be hosting throughout the year. Our Links area has great resources including other Mid-Atlantic clubs, the shops we like to support, and some of the larger scoot events that you may find in the US.
